BIOGRAPHY
Hallam George was born in London, England, but early on in life found his way across the pond, up and down America’s eastern seaboard, and finally to Washington, D.C, where he lives now. His sound reminisces on the whimsy of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and the gentleness of Simon and Garfunkel… with an inevitable twist of psychedelia. Hallam fronts his eponymous live band with his guitar as well as writing, arranging, and producing the music, with plenty of help from his bandmate Mickey Jamieson and many others along the way.
Having graduated Berklee College of Music in 2023 with two bachelors—one in songwriting and the other in production and arranging—Hallam worked in Boston, Brooklyn, and Columbia, Missouri, towards his debut album Mishaps (which released in May of 2025). He since then found his way to the D.C. area and now works as a teacher and freelance musician, joining pop-punk band American Promise, in addition to working on his solo ambitions. He has his sights set on recording his sophomore album this fall with his trusty team in Missouri, and in the meantime actively writes, teaches, and plays in the DMV.
